Shanghai After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for our Shanghai tour. Our first stop will be the Jade Buddha Temple, Shanghai's most important Buddhist temple. Founded in 1882, this temple takes its name from two precious white jade Buddha statues, one seated and one reclining. These statues are of special importance as they were brought to Shanghai from Myanmar. Architecturally, it is in the traditional Chinese Buddhist style and is still used as an active monastery by monks. After our temple visit, we will go to Yu Garden, a famous classical Chinese garden from the Ming Dynasty, located in the Old City of the city. The garden was built between 1559 and 1577 by a ruler named Pan Yunduan as a peaceful resting place for his family. The garden is filled with ponds, bridges, stone structures, traditional pavilions, and ancient trees. It contains the famous Giant Rock (Exquisite Jade Rock). Completed in 2015, the tower is notable for its rotating spiral design. At 632 meters, it is the tallest building in China and one of the tallest in the world. It houses offices, hotels, and some of the world's fastest elevators. Shanghai > Chongqing After breakfast at the hotel and completing check-out procedures, we will transfer to Shanghai Pudong Airport. After completing our ticket and baggage procedures, we will take a flight to Chongqing with a local airline. Upon landing at Chongqing Airport, we will transfer to our private bus waiting for us and depart for a panoramic Chongqing city tour. First, we will visit Ci Qi Kou Ancient Village, one of the oldest and best-preserved settlements in Chongqing with a history of over a thousand years. With its traditional architecture, narrow streets, tea houses, and local handicraft shops, the area will give us the opportunity to get to know the historical atmosphere of the city up close. Afterwards, we will visit Hongya Cave, one of the symbols of the city, located on the banks of the Yangtze River. This area, famous for its multi-story traditional architecture and river views, is one of the ideal spots for taking photographs. During our tour, we will also visit the Panda House and have the chance to see the giant pandas, the symbol of China, up close. We will have lunch at a local restaurant during the tour. At the end of the tour, we transfer to the port and board our boat. After checking in on the cruise ship, we settle into our cabins and have free time. Dinner and overnight stay on board the ship.

Chongqing > Wanzhou We will have breakfast on board the ship, enjoying the legendary views of the Yangtze River. The comfortable services and panoramic decks offered on board will allow us to admire the natural beauty stretching along the river. The first private shore excursion of the cruise program will take place at one of the following stops, depending on river conditions and navigation safety: Fengdu, Shibaozhai, or Wanzhou. Disembark > Yichang > Xi’an After breakfast on board and completing disembarkation procedures, we will depart for a visit to the Three Gorges Dam, one of the world's largest hydroelectric projects. During this guided tour, we will receive detailed information about the dam's engineering achievement and its strategic importance on the Yangtze River. After the tour, the ship program will end at Yichang Port. After dinner, depending on flight schedules, we will transfer to Xi’an by either direct flight, connecting flight, or high-speed train. Xi’an After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for a city tour of Xi’an, one of China’s richest historical regions. First, we will visit the Terracotta Army & Horses Museum, recognized by UNESCO and known as the Eighth Wonder of the World. The museum is famous for its giant underground army, buried with Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China, approximately 2,200 years ago to protect him. Discovered in 1974, this site is considered one of the most important archaeological excavations of the 20th century. We will have lunch at a local restaurant during the tour. Afterwards, we will have our Traditional Lacquer Art Workshop program. Then, free time for shopping in the Antique Style Street. After free time, transfer to the hotel. The pagoda was originally built in 652 during the reign of Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty and was used to collect Buddhist materials from India. After this, we will see places such as the Xi’an Ancient City Wall, the Bell Tower, the Muslim Quarter, and the Great Mosque. We will have lunch at a local restaurant during the tour. First, we will visit Juyong Pass (Juyongguan Great Wall), one of the sections of the Great Wall closest to Beijing. The pass was historically used as an important military passage and is located in a strategic valley. Its scenery is surrounded by greenery, making it particularly enjoyable to experience in spring and autumn. While it offers easier climbing options compared to other sections, some parts are quite steep. After our visit here, we will have lunch at a local restaurant in the area.
