KASTAMONU, PINARBAŞI, ILICA CANYON, GLASS TERRACEVerified
Tour Description
Located at the end of Horma Canyon, Ilıca Waterfall is within the boundaries of Ilıca village in Pınarbaşı district of Kastamonu. The waterfall, 12 kilometers from the district center, can be reached on foot in about half an hour via a footpath from Ilıca village. The Zarı Stream, flowing through the canyon, cascades down from a height of approximately 10 meters at the end of Horma Canyon, forming the Ilıca Waterfall. A naturally formed pool has appeared at the base of the waterfall. The most important feature of Ilıca Waterfall is that this pool is surrounded by numerous trees and rich vegetation. Approaching from the upper part of the waterfall, the depressions and carvings formed over the years by the erosion of the rocks by flowing water add a unique beauty to the waterfall.
